Deactivated SIG 542 Airborne Assault Rifle

This is a SIG (Swedish) manufactured model 542 rifle fitted with airbourne folding stock. This variant does not have the folding bipod legs and is designed to be as compact and light as possible. The SIG series of SG rifles were developed in the 1970s and are manufactured to an extremely high standard and proved to be very reliable and accurate rifles capable of single, selective and fully automatic fire.
