WW2 K98 Bayonet & Scabbard With Matching Makers

This is a matching makers WWII German K98 bayonet & scabbard. The maker code "agv" is that of Berg & Co, Solingen-Ohligs. The bayonet is dated 1944 and the scabbard 1943 and both have the correct WaA518 acceptance stamp. Interestingly the serial numbers on both are "C" suffix. Both bayonet & scabbard are covered in battle scars and look to have been together whilst in service during WW2.
